Tried out Gus Deraco’s today & ordered the Lemon Pepper Chicken Salad (Lg.) Not only was the portion size awesome, but the employees were kind and a breath of fresh air. While waiting for my order, almost every time the phone was answered- the woman behind the counter asked the caller if it was “their usual”. You can definitely tell they have a following & truly care about their patrons. After speaking with the staff to get some history on the restaurant, I learned that Gus’ has been around since 1978 & was located near the farmers market right down the street. Luckily this joint is a short walk from my place, so I will be back! Thank you guys :)
Saw this place while taking a walk. Finally got to stop in. Very friendly staff, it is very clean and well maintaned. Very good and the pricea are fair. I will definitly be back.
Great food and even greater service! Highly recommended!
Great family owned shop!! Food was excellent, we will definitely be back!
It should be a historical landmark and a wonderful place to eat some of the best sandwiches ever. Just recently I stopped by Gus Deraco's Italian Sandwich shop and it's been some time since I was there and I explained to the owners why I was away from there but I stayed and had a nice conversation with the staff and owners and I ate some breakfast and I have to admit that the young man named Julius he made my food and it was out of this world so perfectly made and mouth watering delicious. When Gus was alive, I remember all the time he made me feel like I was worth something and he was the Football coach for The Lebanon Rams back in the day, I think Gus was the coach. I will never forget how Gus would give me some of the best advice and guidance, but I have to admit he made the best sandwiches especially the Ham boats and everything else. If I could tell Gus one simple thing, I would say thank you for guiding me and believing that I was worth something to someone.
Clean premises and tabletops, friendly knowledgeable staff, extensive menu, high-quality meats and fixings, fresh-cut fries and a nice selection of Penn State Berkey Creamery ice cream. What's not to like? Highly recommended for breakfast and lunch.
The first time i went i fell in love this is the first breakfast place in Lebanon that serves Turkey bacon & has seasoning on there there food. Best breakfast in town hands down...... I ate there again a couple days later i had the spaghetti & meatballs platter worst spaghetti i ever had i was disappointed im half Sicilian so I was expecting more from an Italian restaurant.
The staff are very kind and will treat you with a smile. The food is always amazing every single time I go in or grab take out. Would highly recommend stopping in to grab a bite to eat!
